ATLANTA — Three people have been convicted in Fulton County following an investigation into the Rollin 60s Neighborhood Crips and the illegal distribution of drugs.

The convictions stem from Operation Heatwave, a 2023 multi-agency effort led by the Atlanta Police Department targeting gangs, guns and drugs in areas of the city experiencing high levels of violence.
Authorities said the investigation resulted in the recovery of:
- 8 firearms
- 326 grams of oxycodone
- 122 grams of amphetamines
- 53.5 pounds of marijuana
- More than 3 pounds of psilocybin mushrooms
- More than 12 grams of Xanax
Among those convicted was 32-year-old Chiquille Bell, who authorities described as the ringleader of the gang’s drug distribution operation.
Channel 2 Action News previously covered when police say they caught Bell dealing drugs and guns days after he was released from jail in 2023.
The prosecution unit said this marks its fourth year partnering with APD on Operation Heatwave.
