ATLANTA — Police have responded to an Atlanta apartment complex for a second death investigation there this week.

Officers responded early Tuesday to the apartments on Cushman Circle where they found a man dead inside one of the buildings. Channel 2’s Steve Gehlbach learned the victim is 21 years old. Police have not released his name.
It’s the same apartment complex where police investigated a deadly shooting on Sunday. Police said Elijah Brookshire, 25, was shot and someone tried to rush him to Grady Memorial Hospital.
The driver pulled over on Langford Drive after noticing that Brookshire wasn’t breathing. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators told Gehlbach they don’t know if the two deaths are connected at this time.
