SANDERSVILLE, Ga. — It was one Georgia Lottery player’s lucky day when they spent $20 to become a multimillionaire.
Lottery officials say someone in Sandersville picked up a Millionaire Jumbo Bucks scratch-off ticket at a convenience store.

When they played, they won the top prize of $2.5 million off the $20 ticket.
The winner claimed their prize on Wednesday. Georgia law allows lottery winners to stay anonymous.
