2 people dead in murder-suicide in Gwinnett County, homicide detectives still investigating

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Homicide detectives are investigating after two people were found dead in a parked car in the driveway of a Gwinnett County home.

Gwinnett County Police said the incident happened at 1042 Wallace Hill Ridge SE in Lawrenceville. A woman in the driver’s seat and a man in the passenger seat were found dead with apparent gunshot wounds Sunday afternoon.

Investigators say their shooting deaths are being investigated as a murder-suicide.

Police say that the people killed did not live in the area. Their identities have not yet been released.

Investigators added that there was no damage to the car that would have come from this incident. Neighbors also say they did not see or hear anything.

The Crime Scene Unit has been requested to investigate.
