FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — The man Roswell Police Department issued a Mattie’s Call alert for after EMTs evaluated him has been found dead in a small pond.
Officials said on Thursday, the found 64-year-old Hussein Esmail dead in a small pond. At this time, there are no indications of any suspicious or criminal activity, police said.

Officials were looking for Esmail of Marietta after he was last seen on Friday, Nov. 11.
Police said Esmail spoke with officers who were conducting a welfare check near Riverside Road and Old Alabama Road. Authorities said officers spoke with Esmail twice, the last time around 9 p.m.
As he spoke with the officers, Esmail said he was familiar with the area, said he knew where he was going and requested to walk home by himself. Officials said he was evaluated by EMTs who confirmed he knew where he was.

They told Channel 2 Action News that is the last time anyone has seen him. Authorities also said on Monday afternoon that they have investigated every lead they have received, but none of them have panned out.
