ATLANTA,None — Two men were shot outside an Atlanta restaurant run by rapper-producer Sean P. Diddy Combs on Friday night, police said.
The shooting happened outside Justin's on Peachtree Road, Atlanta police spokeswoman Kimberly Maggart said. Combs is the restaurant's president and CEO.
One victim, Lawrence Jackson, told police that he was listening to music in a black Chevrolet sport utility vehicle with two other men when the gunman approached. The assailant jumped into the car and yelled, "You know what time it is," Maggart said.
Jackson said he tried to push the gun away and run away, when the man started shooting. Jackson, though hit, managed to run to his car and drive himself to Piedmont Hospital, Maggart said. She said he was in stable condition.
The other victim was 41-year-old Leroy Austin. It was unclear whether he was with Jackson, but Maggart said he was shot five times. Austin was also in stable condition, Maggart said.
No arrests have been made in the shooting.
