Popular, terrifying Atlanta attraction gets street named after it

STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. — When haunt fans go looking for an address for one of the nation’s most popular haunted houses this October, they won’t have to search long. That’s because Netherworld Haunted House, formerly located at 2076 W Park Place Blvd. in Stone Mountain, has a new address. From now on, fans will find the popular attraction at 1313 Netherworld Way.

“Since planting roots here in Stone Mountain three years ago, those roots have only grown stronger, but having this new address really cements this place as home,” said Billy Messina, Netherworld’s co-creator.

Visitors should expect location services apps like Waze and Google Maps to update the address in its servers in the next few months.

Netherworld recently reopened its escape games and laser tag arena and company officials remain hopeful that another year of haunts is on the horizon.

“It’s been a crazy year and the news of the new street name is truly a positive light and a hopeful sign of things to come. I’m beyond thrilled that our guests will be plugging 1313 Netherworld Way into their phones when we open the doors for our 24th year of fear.”
