Vinings Jubilee Christmas Tree Lighting featuring special guest Santa Claus

This annual event transforms Vinings Jubilee into a holiday wonderland for the entire family to enjoy and is free for all to attend. The lighting is from 6-8 p.m.

2021 Home Town Christmas Parade

Head to Rabun County to enjoy the county’s annual Christmas parade. There will be floats, shopping, music and more!

Christmas parade in College Park

A long-standing tradition since 1975, the festive parade includes marching band performances, local businesses, classic automobiles and decorative floats, spreading cheer as they travel along Main Street. This year’s theme is inspired by Disney’s Christmastime Parade in Magic Kingdom. The parade will start promptly at 10:30 a.m. at 3872 College Street, College Park.

The Lighting at Colony Square

Join us for an exciting all-day event as we celebrate the season on the Square benefitting Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta! Experience live music and jolly entertainment, artful activities, ice skating and more as we await the arrival of Santa and kick off the holidays, making Midtown merry + bright.

Sparkle Sandy Springs Parade and Sparkle Village

The Sparkle Sandy Springs Parade ushers in the Sparkle Village on the City Green, a month-long display of miniature lit wooden homes decorated by local businesses, schools, and nonprofits. The event itself, which includes a menorah and tree lighting, will be a joyful experience with the help of snow machines and food and beverage for purchase. A new, exciting addition to the event this year will be a holiday concert featuring The Glow Band and the Sparkle Holiday Gift Market, which will spotlight popular gift and craft vendors from the Sandy Springs Farmers Market.

Jingle Jog

Jingle all the way down the Boulevard at Avalon! This 1 mile fun run with Santa through Avalon will be sure the spread the Christmas cheer.

Georgia Vintage Goods’ Pop-Up Market at Atlanta Dairies

Shop vintage clothing, local arts and prints, handmade jewelry, leather and wood goods, trinkets, antiques and more as the market features more than 50 of the best local artists, vintage curators and handmade artisans from around the Southeast.

Re-discover the magic of Dr. Seuss’ classic holiday tale as it comes to life on stage. The Fifth Third Bank Broadway In Atlanta show is at the Fox Theatre.

Guests are encouraged to bring a donation for the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta’s Children’s Holiday Wish List program.

A Traditional Christmas

Produced by Create City Springs, A Traditional Christmas will feature a program of traditional Christmas songs centered on a stunning performance of Handel’s Messiah with a concert choir and orchestra.

A Haunted Holiday at Netherworld

The Atlanta haunt will undergo a holiday transformation and reopen for one night only for A Haunted Holiday. Guests will experience a full production and encore performance of RISE OF THE NETHERSPAWN, but this time with a yuletide-fueled takeover. Expect visits from seasonally inspired monsters like Krampus and Yeti, holiday themed scenes, and more.

One Man Production of A Christmas Carol

Underground Atlanta welcomes David Weber and his one man production of A Christmas Carol to Down the Hatch, the eclectic and historic underground pirate ship once famed as Atlanta restaurant Dante’s Down the Hatch. The production incorporates theatrical techniques of silent film, radio and vaudeville, while paying homage to Charles Dickens tale of redemption for a London-based businessman named Ebenezer Scrooge. Elements of Eastern European Clown and Mime are used throughout as Weber embodies 22 distinct and believable characters in a non-stop hour-long performance.

Holiday Express 2021 on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway

Enjoy a festive 1-hour train ride on the Holiday Express in which you can listen to holiday music, hear the story “The Night Before Christmas,” enjoy delicious hot chocolate or other snacks available for sale inside our concession car. Children will receive a Blue Ridge Scenic Railway jingle bell, candy cane, and activity packet while on board.

Main Street Christmas Light Extravaganza

Downtown Macon will transform into a merry wonderland with more than 500,000 Christmas lights strung across four blocks of the city’s Main Street. Following the opening concert, free shows will be open to the public nightly through January 2, with performances beginning at the top of each hour from 6 to 10 p.m. After the light show, visitors can stroll through historic Downtown Macon to experience the city’s thriving culinary and retail district. Other seasonal activities will include carriage rides, selfies with Santa and live reindeer, and more.

Holiday Magic at the World Of Coke

Holiday magic has returned to the World of Coca-Cola. From now until January 7, the attraction is filled with thousands of twinkling lights, larger-than-life decorations, seasonal beverages and festive photo opps. This year, the event is back and brighter than ever before to celebrate 90 years of the classic Coca-Cola Santa. Guests can expect all new seasonal experiences, limited time interactive activations and festive surprises around every corner.

Dahlonega’s Old Fashioned Christmas

Bedecked in thousands of twinkling lights, a show-stopping two-story Christmas tree on the square and the second annual Festival of Trees with 10-12 brightly decorated Christmas trees on display outside in Hancock Park, the town looks and feels like a holiday wonderland. Family-friendly holiday special activities include carriage rides (additional cost), socially-distanced visits with Santa, boutique holiday shopping as Dahlonega’s eclectic selection of merchants offer extended hours and the annual Christmas Market, put on by the Dahlonega Women’s Club, a live nativity, old-time carolers and a holiday show at the historic Holly Theater.

Garden Lights, Holiday Nights

While plenty of the show’s fan-favorite features will return, guests can expect new twists, including a colorful Glowing Grove along the Flower Walk, oversized flowers leading to Ice Goddess and several lighted sculptures from the 2021 summer exhibition SUPERnatural: Glass Art by Jason Gamrath.

Skate on the Square

Throughout the holiday season, The Plaza at Colony Square will be transformed into an ice-skating rink. Hours of operation will be Monday through Friday from 3 to 9 p.m.; Saturday from noon to 10 p.m.; Sunday from noon to 7 p.m.; and on school holidays from noon to 10 p.m. Tickets, which include skates, are $18 per adult and $14 per child (12 & under).

ATL Holiday Lights

ATL Holiday Lights returns to Atlantic Station’s Pinnacle Lot. In partnership with Atlanta Beer and Wine Festival, guests can enjoy twinkling lights and colorful displays to the beat of holiday tunes during the drive-through light show experience.

Skate the Station

Lace up your skates and bundle up because the 10,000-square-foot skating rink, the largest outdoor rink in metro Atlanta, returns this year on Nov. 19. Skate the Station tickets are on sale now for $15 for general admission and $60 for a season pass, and all ticket purchases include skate rentals.

Dec. 1-27

Hollywood Holidays

Holiday lights will also return to Brook Run Park with three times as many lights as last year. From December 1-27, visitors can view the “Hollywood Holidays”-themed display featuring more than 75,000 lights forming decorations inspired by popular holiday movies. The opening festival will take place on Wednesday, December 1, with hot cocoa and appearances by popular holiday characters.

Holiday Light Tour

With the holiday season fast approaching, Cobb EMC’s inaugural Holiday Light Tour is a must-see to kick off December. This month-long event will include a holiday light display at the Cobb EMC Solar Flower Garden and features six homes with incredible holiday light displays that are serviced by the electric cooperative.
