Fright Fest returns to Six Flags Over Georgia

AUSTELL, Ga. — Fright Fest returns to Six Flags Over Georgia.

The annual Halloween event features 13 haunted experiences operating across 22 select nights from Sept. 12 through Nov. 1.

The annual fall event combines new original attractions with returning haunted mazes themed after horror film franchises, including New Line Cinema’s “The Conjuring Universe” and Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures’ “SAW.” The lineup includes two new premium haunted mazes, two new scare zones and a new live show.

Five new attractions are debuting this season, including Finklestein’s House of Fun, Infestation, Dreadwell Brothers Carnival of Curiosities, Nevermore and The Mare.

Park President Richard Pretlow detailed the approach behind this season’s event design.

“Fright Fest is all about bringing to life the stories that haunt our guests’ imaginations,” Pretlow said. “This year’s lineup combines iconic horror franchises with original haunted experiences and immersive environments designed by our talented team to terrify guests from the moment they enter the park until the final scream of the night.”

For daytime visitors, Six Flags Over Georgia will host Tricks & Treats on Saturdays and Sundays from Sept. 12 through Nov. 1. It offers costume contests, trick-or-treating, character meet-and-greets and children’s activities before evening scary attractions begin.
