Ponce Goes Upside Down – Halloween Edition

A new carnival-style block party, will be celebrating the spooky season with costumed street performers, complimentary popcorn and candy, cornhole, live jazz at Bar Vegan and a range of fun, in-store activations, special products, exhibits and more at Ponce City Market. Attendance is free and family-friendly, and all are welcome.

Fright Night Halloween at Sports and Social

Thrill-seekers are invited to discover the haunted cemetery-themed party people are dying to get in to! Attendees can expect live music, drink specials and a costume contest with $7,500 in cash prizes. Tickets for the event are $20 and include admission and one drink ticket. Guests must be 21 and over to attend.

FANTAstic Halloween After Dark

World of Coca-Cola will open its doors for its first-ever, adults-only event from 7-10 p.m. The event will feature a DJ spinning spook-tacular tunes, dramatic Halloween-themed entertainment and a full bar with a “FANTAstic Halloween” specialty cocktail. Food will also be available for purchase. Tickets cost $35 and include two drink tickets for wine or beer. Costumes are welcome, and face coverings are required except in spaces designated for eating and drinking. Masks that fully cover the face and weapon-like props are not permitted. Guests must be 21 years or older to attend.

Witches Night Out

Enjoy a DJ and dancing in the Village Green, a costume contest with prizes for best group and individual costumes, Halloween-themed cocktails at Halcyon’s participating bars and restaurants, a tarot card reading, adult trick-or-treating and much more.

“Hocus Pocus” screening

Hotel Colee is summoning the Sanderson Sisters with a pre-Halloween screening on the hotel’s terrace under October’s only full moon (when “all the weirdos are out”). The magical evening will give attendees the chance to perfect their costumes with a specially curated collection of vintage threads and pre-styled Halloween costumes on hand for perusing and purchase. Moviegoers are encouraged to get into the spirit and come dressed in costume channeling Winifred, Sarah and Mary, their best Thackery Binx or even just a “good zombie.” The best-costumed moviegoer will win a free one night stay at Hotel Colee. There is no charge for admission to the event but RSVPs are requested and light bites and beverages, boozy and not, will be available for purchase. Valet parking is available for $17.

Boo at the Zoo

Boo-goers of all ages will enjoy a family Halloween experience in the home of more than 1,000 animals from around the world. Guests can sample sweet treats, meet whimsical characters, and more. Halloween fun will include the Monster Mash Disco; kids’ crafts; themed carnival games; meet-and-greets with strolling characters; and rides on the Candy Thief Patrol themed Zoo train (train ticket purchase required). Activities and entertainment will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Costume contest at Johnny’s Hideaway

Partygoers who are dressed to kill can see if their costumes pass the test when judging begins at midnight. The contest includes $500 in prizes.

Sips Under the Sea

Sharks lurk in the dark and piranhas prowl the waters. Visit Georgia Aquarium for Sips Under the Sea: Halloween, after-hours fun exclusively for 21+ guests! Wear your favorite Halloween costume as you walk through the galleries, stop by the bar to grab a drink, and dance! This event features popular cocktails, dining options, a live DJ, and access to the Aquarium’s main galleries.

Monday night Monster Mash

Red’s Beer Garden is calling all the monsters, young or old, for a Monday night Monster Mash with a tap takeover, pumpkin carvings, and a spooky movie on the lawn at 8 p.m. Lastly, wear a costume on Halloween, and Red’s will pour a free draft lager. Not to mention, four-legged friends who dress up can join in on the pawty with dog treats.

A Maskarade Halloween

Get ready to mask up and party at Park Tavern.Enjoy a night of Howl-o-ween fun with a costume contest, drink specials, and DJ. The first-place prize is $500 CASH, 2nd & 3rd place will get $150 gift certificates to Park Tavern.  To enter the costume contest, people must have their picture taken upon entering. Costume pictures will take place between 9 pm-midnight.

Hampton + Hudson’s Beetlejuice Halloween Party

The Inman Park community bar and restaurant’s annual Halloween celebration is back! Starting at 8pm, a DJ will be spinning beats, Beetlejuice will be playing on all TVs, beer and cocktail specials will be flowing and their team will be dressed in their Beetlejuice best. Attendees are encouraged to come dressed up for a costume contest, with winners receiving gift cards, merch and more. Beforehand, guests can enjoy Halloween brunch specials from 10am to 2pm and catch the UGA v. Florida football game starting at 3:30pm.

The Roof’s Annual 21+ Halloween Party

Something wicked is coming to The Roof at Ponce City Market! The Roof will transform with frightful sights, a dance party and a costume contest.

Boos and Brews Festival

This 21 and up event is a daytime Halloween-styled festival with beer, wine, cocktails, and live music from DJ Qtip. Your ticket purchase will include a souvenir cup, alcoholic samples, and admission to the event.

Día de los Muertos

Open to all the ages and free to attend, the festival will be a lively afternoon and evening filled with fun, community spirit, food, beverages, live entertainment and much more. Additionally, guests are invited to don their best Day of the Dead costumes and get candy sugar skull face paintings.

Cherry Street Boos and Brews Beer Mile

Kick off Halloween with a spook-tacular Beer Mile hosted by Cherry Street Brewpub and Shred 415 of Alpharetta. Show off your best costume as you try a new brew sample, or apple juice for the kiddos, at the end of each lap and a large finisher pour at the finish line. This year’s wicked beer mile will include three waves of runners. Children are eligible to run for free with adults during the 10 a.m. wave. Prizes will be awarded to the first, second and third place male and female finishers from each wave.

Haunted Hall of Fame

Head to the College Football Hall of Fame for a frightfully fun time at the Hall. Ghouls and gals 12 and under get in FREE with costume from 10AM-5PM. Explore all 95,000 sq. ft. of our spooky halls and get ready for the many tricks, treats and pleasant shrieks! Don’t forget your costume.

The Roof at Ponce City Market is celebrating the sweetest day of the year with trick-or-treating for children. To join, guests can purchase regular adult and child admission tickets online here beginning October 1 or onsite the day-of.

Hoots N Howls: Halloween Dog Costume Contest

Happy Howl-o-ween! Four-legged friends and their pet parents are invited to join in on the Halloween fun this year at The Battery Atlanta! In addition to live music and various vendors, guests can dress their fur babies in their best costume for a chance to win this year’s Halloween Dog Costume Contest! A $5 entry fee is required for each dog with all proceeds benefitting animal rescue organizations.

Halloween Block Party of Second Self

Second Self will welcome guests to don their best costumes and make their way to the brewery’s Westside taproom for a family-friendly block party celebration. Stone Mountain Parks Pumpkin Festival returns! The Play by Day, Glow by Night outdoor extravaganza features an all-new glow-in-the-dark parade with thousands of jack-o-lanterns, a giant glowing pumpkin tree, costumed characters, mini-golf and more. The fest runs through Oct. 31st.
