Convoy of Care: Aug. 20 & 21, 2016

Help WSB-TV and local law enforcement agencies fill two tractor trailer trucks with critical supplies to send to families affected by flooding in Louisiana.

The public can drop off donations on Saturday, August 20 and Sunday, August 21 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Atlanta Civic Center located at 395 Piedmont Ave. NE, Atlanta, 30308.

Items needed:

·        Toiletry items – lotion, toothpaste, deodorant, soap, body wash, feminine hygiene products

·        Towels – washcloths & bath towels

·        Underclothes – underwear, undershirts

·        Socks

·        Paper towels

·        Toilet tissue

·        Diapers

·        Laundry detergent

·        Bleach

·        Cleaning materials for mold, disinfectant spray

·        Baby formula

·        Water

Agencies joining the Convoy of Care include the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives, the Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police, Georgia Sheriff’s Association, Georgia Emergency Management Agency, Georgia State Patrol, Georgia Bureau of Investigation, and Caring for Others.
