HENRY COUNTY, Ga. — One community is showing support for the family of a police officer killed in the line of duty.
Hundreds gathered for the Chase 5K that started at 8 a.m. Saturday in Locust Grove.
The money raised will go to the family of Officer Chase Maddox, 26, who was killed earlier this month while serving a warrant.

Channel 2's Steve Gehlbach spoke to Alex Maddox, who says she's been overwhelmed since her husband's death, but grateful for the support and love.
“It’s been great for me, our boys and our family and there are no words to express our gratitude," Alex Maddox said. "Just whole-hearted gratitude."
Gehlbach also spoke to the two other deputies who were injured that day.
They said they've both come a long way physically and emotionally.
