DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — Police say a stolen SUV crashed into a car and then into a home, knocking out a garage wall Friday morning.

A grandmother who lived inside the home on Browns Mill Ferry Road had to seek medical attention after the crash.

Channel 2's Tom Jones was in DeKalb Couty, where the crashed Ford Explorer was still jutting out of a wall of the home.

Police are still searching for at least two people who were inside the SUV and ran from the scene.

The victim's daughter, who also lives in the home but didn't want to be identified, said it was around 9 a.m. Friday morning when she heard a huge boom.

"I heard the crash and then I noticed the car was right there," the woman said.

Part of the garage wall was destroyed but, luckily, the woman and her mother were in the back of the home.

Jones spoke to Curtis Bussey, the victim's son, who said the crash shook up his mother, so paramedics arrived to check her out.

"She's just shook up and they're just looking out for her," Bussey said.

Police said the SUV slammed into a car in the home's driveway before it went into the house.

Police said at least two suspects inside the SUV got away.

The woman who lived in the home said she's just glad it wasn't worse.

"I'm grateful," she said. "I am very grateful."

She said the crash didn't affect the structure of the home, so they won't have to find another place to stay.
