COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Two Cobb County high school students were arrested after police say they brought a loaded gun to school and planned to sell drugs between classes.
The bust happened at Pebblebrook High School in Mableton on Monday after someone tipped off administrators.
Police said the teens hid the gun inside a backpack. The drugs were wrapped in nearly a dozen sandwich bags.
Channel 2's Chris Jose was in Cobb County, where 17-year-old Holton Naylor and 18-year-old Tybias Davis were arrested.
Naylor and Davis are facing adult charges and are being held without bond at the Cobb County jail.

Jose talked to students who saw the arrest. Terrell English said the teens were arrested quietly.
"It was kind of subtle," English said. "They heard about it, grabbed the cops and went straight to his car and went to him, grabbed him. It was just real quick."
English said the school emailed his parents on Monday shortly after the arrest.
According to an arrest warrant Jose obtained, the bag had "a jar that contained nine individually packaged baggies of a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana." Police believe the teens intended to sell the drugs.
According to the warrant, Davis took the backpack to a bathroom and then returned with it. Someone reported the suspicious behavior to administrators.
When officers confronted Naylor about the drugs, police say he took the gun out of the backpack and tried to hide it in his pants.
Students were shocked the teens brought the gun to school.
"Nowadays, you've got people bringing guns to school for no reason," student Jason Diggs said. "It was just real shocking."
According to court documents, both teens have been called "a danger to the school community."
A school spokesperson said Peddlebrook continues to be a safe place for students and teachers.
