Alicia Brown is married to Atlanta radio host Darian Morgan, better known as Big Tigger. She accused him of pushing her headfirst into a door during an argument. Sandy Springs police arrested Morgan, who has denied the allegations.
Days later, Brown herself was arrested during a traffic stop on Interstate 85 in Hart County near the South Carolina line.
According to the Hart County Sheriff’s Office, the Baltimore County Police Department in Maryland had warrants for Brown connected to a missing child report from 2019. She also had a warrant out of Fulton County for interference with child custody.
Brown filed a federal civil lawsuit this week, not against the Hart County Sheriff’s Office, but Fulton County Sheriff Pat Labat and his office for its warrant. She claims the Fulton County warrant against her was “erroneous” and says she was granted an order for custody of her children and the charge was dropped.
She also claims her estranged husband received preferential treatment because he is “close friends” with Sheriff Labat. She is asking the court to preserve all communication and jail records regarding her case.
Channel 2 Action News has reached out to the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office for a statement regarding the lawsuit.
