ATLANTA — More than a year after a mass shooting on a busy Atlanta street killed one person and injured 10 more, a fugitive has been arrested.
On Tuesday, the FBI - Atlanta said they arrested Nasir Williams, who they say was one of the shooters in the Edgewood Ave. incident.
Investigators say members of two rival gangs got into an argument on July 28, 2025 that escalated into gunfire.

They left the area for about an hour then returned, and police say the two groups started shooting.
Dozens of bystanders could be seen running for their lives on the surveillance footage.
The man killed was identified by family as Santos Wyatt, a 27-year-old father.
In an exclusive interview with Channel 2’s Michael Seiden, Colandra Atkinson said that her son, Wyatt, had just wrapped up a fun night with his friends and was headed home July 28 when all of the sudden, someone started shooting.

Williams is currently being held in the Fulton County Jail on one count of murder and 10 counts of aggravated assault. He’s also being held on unrelated warrants out of Clayton, DeKalb and Henry counties, according to jail records.
In the days after the shooter, 19-year-old Rico Arnold, was arrested and charged with one count of murder and 10 counts of aggravated assault.
The FBI says a third suspect, whose name has not been released, is still on the run. They say they will release more details about that suspect in the coming days.
