ATLANTA — According to the Georgia Department of Transportation, a deadly crash closed all lanes on Interstate 75 and Interstate 85 south, near Ralph David Abernathy Blvd in Fulton County, at 8 p.m. Friday.

Investigators say a person entered the southbound lanes of I-75/85 and was hit by a silver Honda Civic. The person died. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and suffered a minor injury.

The Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team has been called and is assisting with the investigation.
The victim has not yet been identified.
