ATLANTA — Atlanta Fire and Rescue crews evacuated some midtown businesses after reports of carbon monoxide, but they later confirmed the leak was carbon dioxide.
Officials said the leak was coming from a refrigerator unit.
Firefighters responded to the Midtown Promenade in the 900 block of Monroe Drive on Monday morning.

Officials said two people reported having headaches. They are stable.
Just before 10:30 a.m., fire officials confirmed that the air quality levels were within normal range.
