ATLANTA — Another victim has come forward after Channel 2 Action News' report of an alleged scammer.

Channel 2's Carl Willis spoke with Shatavia Luck who said she raised money from sponsors so she could compete in a beauty pageant.

But Luck said the pageant director took the money and disappeared.

The woman said the alleged scammer is the same person who took thousands of dollars from another family, money that was supposed to pay for a cruise.

"My Godbrother sent me the link, and he was like, 'She did it again.' So I went and I found her. I had to find her," Luck said.

Luck spoke with Kanesha Ivory after Ivory came to Channel 2 Action News about being swindled out of thousands.

Luck said the same woman accused of stealing thousands from Ivory also collected $1,200 from her that was supposed to pay for fees for a national pageant.

"I just feel horrible, really sad because I feel like I'll never see it again," Luck said.

Channel 2 Action News is not identifying the woman because she has not been charged with a crime.

But now, both alleged victims said they're getting the law involved to find the woman they said attended their church.

Luck said it's time the woman's alleged scams come to light.

"I hope that she either gives the money back or she gets in trouble, just something has to happen," Luck said.

Since our original story, an anonymous donor has stepped forward to put money toward the Ivory family cruise.
