ATLANTA — A man on the Atlanta Police Department’s Top 10 Most Wanted list has been arrested in connection with a deadly shooting that happened late last year.

According to the Atlanta Police Department, fugitive investigators worked alongside the FBI Atlanta Violent Crime Task Force on Friday to locate and arrest Antavious Kimber.
Authorities said Kimber was wanted in connection with a homicide that occurred on Dec. 10, 2025, at an apartment complex on Arthur Langford Jr. Place.
The case stems from a shooting reported around 7:34 p.m. that day. Atlanta police officers responding to the scene found a 38-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators later identified Kimber as a suspect and added him to the department’s Top 10 Most Wanted list.
Officials said Kimber was taken into custody on Aug. 21.
Additional details about where he was found or the charges he faces were not immediately released.
The homicide investigation remains ongoing.
