SPALDING COUNTY, Ga. — A judge denied bond for a mother accused in a child cruelty case.
Channel 2 Action News first told you about this story on Wednesday. Police said Laquanda Mosely filmed herself dunking her baby's head under water to retaliate against the baby's father.
Mosley faces charges including aggravated assault with intent to murder, first-degree child cruelty and terroristic threats.
On Wednesday, Jones tracked down the child's father, who said he believes anger drove her actions.
The 5-month-old girl recovered.
"That was a vindictive act," Kevin Dandridge said.

Jones tried to get Mosley's side of the story in court but her attorney said he hasn't spoke to her yet.
"I'm on my way now to the jail to sit down and find out from her perspective what took place," said Paul Liston.
Mosley will be back in court on Oct. 30. That's when she can ask the court for a bond.
Her baby, along with her 5- and 7-year-old children, are in state custody.
