Amber Alert canceled for 2-month-old boy abducted in Macon after he was found safe

BIBB COUNTY, Ga. — The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has canceled an Amber Alert for a 2-month-old boy who was abducted Sunday morning in Macon.

According to the GBI, the boy was abducted Sunday at 10:51 a.m. by Maurtez Rashaad Edwards, 23.

The GBI confirmed Sunday evening that the boy was found safe.

According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, Edwards was stopped in Liberty County, Florida and taken into custody just after 5:20 p.m.
