FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — A former childcare worker accused of molesting children in her care could face a combined sentence of life plus 122 years behind bars on if she doesn’t accept a deal from prosecutors.

“The defendant’s total exposure would be life plus 122,” said a Fulton County prosecutor in court Tuesday.

Tulsi Patel faces 15 counts, including aggravated child molestation, which has a minimum mandatory of 25 years and a maximum of life.
She is accused of working at a now-closed Kids ‘R’ Kids on Webb Bridge Road in Alpharetta for just two weeks when the accusations came to light in July 2024.
She was granted bond in January 2025.
Channel 2 previously spoke to the parent of a victim.
“The lady asked who did it? Who hurt you and she pointed at the teacher,” said the parent. “From what the detective told me about the footage it sounds bad.”
Prosecutors have offered Patel a plea deal of a 25-year sentence, with 20 years served in confinement.
“The defendant would be required to register as a sex offender, she shall not be allowed to interact or have any unsupervised contact with any kids,” added the prosecutor.
Patel has until Nov. 1 to decide if she will take the plea deal. If not, the case could go to trial later this year.
