COBB COUNTY, Ga. — In April, two men allegedly used a stolen U-Haul moving truck to plow through a Family Dollar and a Coin Laundry while trying to steal the ATMs inside.
Now, suspects have been identified and taken into custody.
Channel 2 Cobb County Bureau Chief Michele Newell obtained video of the when the suspects, Christopher Terrell Jackson and Quentin McKenzie Little, drove the U-Haul into both businesses.
Police told Newell that cell phone data helped them catch the suspects in the crimes.
Five months later, it led to two men’s arrests.
Warrants say one ATM was stolen, while the other remain in its store after the damage left it inaccessible from a fallen wall.

Sgt. Eric Smith from the Cobb County Police Department told Channel 2 Action News that it was hard to identify the men because of what they were wearing.
“Because they were wearing face coverings, you couldn’t do the normal thing of identifying them through normal means,” Smith said. “So detectives had to take much longer in their investigation, but they didn’t give up.”
Information found on Little’s cellphone is what helped officers connect him and Jackson to the crimes.
Jackson was arrested earlier week, but police told Newell they’re still looking for Little.
