One person has died after a crash involving 11 cars Sunday morning in Clayton County, police confirmed to Channel 2 Action News.
All lanes of Interstate 75 northbound at the Mt. Zion Blvd exit were blocked for hours starting at 6 a.m. Sunday. The lanes were able to reopen around 11:15 a.m.
Police and fire officials are still investigating the deadly accident. Other injuries were reported, but it is unknown how many at this time.
The victim who died at the scene has not been identified.
