ATLANTA — Two people are in jail, and officers are searching for a third after gunfire at Piedmont Park, according to Atlanta police.
Police said the gunfire happened on Wednesday afternoon near a pavilion. No one got shot or hurt.

Investigators believe an argument led to the gunfire near the tennis and basketball courts.
Officers found a rifle and a gun inside the park.

Atlanta Police Chief Darin Schierbaum said one of his commanders caught one suspected shooter and officers quickly arrested a second person.
“A 29-year-old and a 21-year-old, which we believe were involved in the discharge of the weapons and we’re actively searching for a third person, which we have credible information who they are,” Schierbaum said.
Police said it was an isolated incident and there was no threat to the public.
Things were back to normal by the time the Atlanta Symphony did a free concert in the park.
