ATLANTA — Atlanta police arrested 32-year-old Demarcus Williams on Sept. 3 after an officer saw a drug transaction on Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway NW.

Williams, a convicted felon, was served with outstanding arrest warrants, including charges linked to a previous robbery at the location where he was arrested.
An Atlanta Police Zone 1 officer was patrolling near 3170 Donald Lee Hollowell Pkwy. NW when the officer saw Williams conducting a hand-to-hand narcotics transaction.
When officers confronted Williams, he admitted to possessing marijuana and a firearm and said he is a convicted felon.

Investigators determined that Williams had active arrest warrants stemming from an incident on Aug. 24.
Police reported that an armed robbery and battery allegedly occurred at the Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway address on that date.
Williams was charged with possession of less than one ounce of marijuana and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
The executed warrants brought additional charges of armed robbery, battery, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
