Police responded to the scene to find a man who appeared to have been struck by several vehicles. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators believe the man may have been suffering from a mental health crisis when he ran into traffic and was hit.

The man was not identified.

The second deadly collision happened on Interstate 75 northbound near Cleveland Avenue SW.

Police said they responded to the scene at around 3:30 a.m. to find a Volkswagen Tiguan and an Acura MDX.

Investigators say the driver of the Acura, a 23-year-old woman, stopped on the shoulder due to car troubles. She got out of the vehicle and was hit by the Volkswagen Tiguan.

The woman didn’t survive the collision, and the driver of the Volkswagen ran from the scene.

The Fulton County medical examiner identified the woman as 23-year-old Jaquelin Telesforo Vazquez.

The driver of the Volkswagen wasn’t identified.

The two deadly collisions come a day after a deadly collision Saturday morning on Interstate 85 near the interchange with Georgia 400.

Atlanta police say a 26-year-old woman ran into traffic after getting out of a vehicle during a fight, was hit and killed, Channel 2 Action News previously reported on Channel 2 Action News at 6:00.
