2 accused of selling methamphetamine in North Georgia captured during drug bust

RABUN COUNTY, Ga. — Two people were arrested as part of a two-month-long drug investigation in north Georgia.

According to the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were contacted on multiple occasions about people suspected of selling methamphetamine in the county.

After two months of investigation, deputies took Christopher Collin Lee, 35, and Kimberly Luann Andrews, 41, both of Clayton County, into custody on multiple drug-related charges.

Sheriff Mark Gerrells said as a result of the investigation, deputies seized roughly 4.75 ounces of meth, 22 oxycodone pills, 1.34 grams of fentanyl and two bottles believed to contain GHB, though the amounts reported are preliminary.

The sheriff’s office said Lee and Andrews face the following charges.

Christopher Collin Lee:

  • Trafficking methamphetamine
  • Possession of a Schedule II controlled substance with intent to distribute
  • Trafficking a Schedule I controlled substance
  • Obstruction

Kimberly Luann Andrews:

  • Trafficking methamphetamine
  • Possession of a Schedule I controlled substance with intent to distribute
  • Possession of a Schedule II controlled substance with intent to distribute
  • Trafficking a Schedule I controlled substance
  • Obstruction

The sheriff thanked the Rabun County citizens who contacted his office with information, as well as the investigators who worked the case.

“We will continue working to combat illegal drug distribution and keep dangerous drugs out of Rabun County,” Garrells said in a statement.
