TYBEE ISLAND, Ga. — What employees found inside a Georgia restaurant’s bathrooms has led to an arrest, police said.

Employees at North Beach Bar and Grill contacted the Tybee Island Police Department on Sept. 17 after discovering a small camera hidden underneath a shelf in one of the restaurant’s bathrooms.
A second camera was later found on top of an air freshener in the business’s other restroom.
Detectives reviewing the camera footage found that several people had been recorded using the facilities, according to police.

Investigators, with the cooperation of the restaurant, identified 48-year-old Larry Walter Chase as the suspect.
Chase was arrested Tuesday and booked into the Chatham County Detention Center on a charge of unlawful eavesdropping or surveillance.
The investigation remains ongoing.
