GSP officials say the Nissan driver was traveling west on Wares Cross Road when the driver ran the red light and went through the intersection. The GMC Sierra driver, who was heading north on GA-1, collided with the Nissan.
The impact sent the Nissan rotating multiple times before it eventually stopped in the southbound lane on GA-1. The crash ejected a passenger in the Nissan who was not wearing a seatbelt, according to GSP.
