JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A Georgia man is facing charges after police say he assaulted a college student to film a YouTube video.
Jack Tyler Laroche, 22, from Kingsland was arrested in Jacksonville, Florida and charged with abuse of a disabled adult and imprisonment. He has since been released on bond.
Police told Channel 2 Action News’ Jacksonville sister station Action News Jax that the victim is a University of North Florida student with autism.

Officers say Laroche found the student hiding in a restroom stall on the university campus. They say he filmed him and put him in a head lock.
As he left, Laroche put a timer on the victim’s phone and told him not to leave the stall until time was up, Action News Jax reported.
Police later tracked Laroche down on campus. He told them he was “[expletive] around” and making a video for YouTube.
