HOGANSVILLE, Ga. — A west Georgia city water system is fully back online after crews made emergency repairs on Monday.
The City of Hogansville announced part of the downtown area had its water shut off for crews to perform emergency maintenance.
On Monday afternoon, the city said the shutoff was due to a service line leak on East Main Street.
“The pressure on the line was such that we needed to relieve it to make the repair,” Hogansville officials said. “It was a small area that was affected for about an hour. The repair was made and water is fully restored now.”
