JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Authorities are releasing new video of the moments they arrested a man accused of killing an Atlanta nightclub owner.
Jonathan Soto, 43, was arrested earlier this month in Jacksonville, Florida, for the 2023 murder of popular Atlanta nightclub owner Mike Gidewon.
Police in Jacksonville are sharing video that shows them blowing up Soto’s front door at an apartment complex before he comes out with his hands up.

Soto leaves the apartment and complies with officers’ commands to lay on the ground.
“He knew his time on the go was up,” police said in a statement.

According to police, witnesses of the 2023 shooting said Soto was intoxicated and became angry after Gidewon kicked him out of the club. That’s when they say he shot and killed Gidewon and ran off.
Soto remains in the Jacksonville jail but will be extradited to Atlanta.
