ALPHARETTA, Ga. — A woman is facing charges after what police are calling a bizarre traffic stop that turned into a slow-speed pursuit.

At one point, dashcam video shows the officer had to use his Taser to get the woman to respond.

In-car dashcam video taken on June 28 shows an officer trying to pull over Erika Jackson, 31, for driving about 20 mph over the speed limit on North Point Parkway.

At one point, dash cam video shows the officer had to use his Taser to get the woman to respond.

"The officer pulled in behind the vehicle, walked up to the vehicle, attempted to get the driver to roll the window down," Officer George Gordon, with the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety, told Petchenik. "She never rolled the window down, refused to make eye contact. For some reason, as soon as the light changed, the female driver took off with her vehicle."

The officer followed Jackson until she got onto GA 400 and police backup arrived to box her in.

"At that point, the officer didn't know what he had. Was it somebody wanted? Were there narcotics in the car? Somebody that committed a crime?" Gordon said.
