Orlandus Cash Sims faces five charges, including three counts of sexual battery and two counts of obstruction/hindering law enforcement.
An arrest warrant obtained by Channel 2 Action News says the groping incidents happened on Oct. 14 at the Panera Bread, Target, and TJ Maxx locations along the East-West Connector in Austell. The warrant says they all happened between 7:10 p.m. and 7:20 p.m.
Police said Sims ran from officers at the Panera Bread, where they took him into custody.
On their way to the Cobb County detention center, the warrant said Sims somehow slipped through his handcuffs. The officers stopped and re-adjusted Sims’ handcuffs before starting again toward the jail.
Sims remains in the Cobb County Detention Center with no bond. Channel 2 Action News has requested his booking photo.
