STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. — A large police presence was reported Friday morning at an apartment complex in DeKalb County.

At least 30 police vehicles, a SWAT team, a mobile command center and the bomb squad were reported at the Reserve at Stone Creek, located at 1420 S. Hairston Road in Stone Mountain.
DeKalb County Police Department and Avondale Estates police were also reported to be at the scene.
We have a Channel 2 Action News photographer on scene working to learn more about the response.
Over a dozen residents are waiting outside the complex to get inside.
“The whole complex is locked down, can’t come in, can’t leave out,” said one resident, Alfonso Gordon. “It’s crazy”
The resident told us his roommate had heard gunshots.
There is no official information yet about what prompted the large police presence.
