COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Spencer Strider won’t be the only one fanning at Truist Park on Thursday afternoon.
Fans who are heading to the Braves’ series finale against the Arizona Diamondbacks can expect temperatures in the high 90s. Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Ashley Kramlich says heat index this afternoon will climb to 100-105° for metro Atlanta.

The team though will have precautions in place to help fans beat the heat as they cheer on the Braves to victory.
Channel 2 Action News confirmed with the team that it will have coolers with water bottles spread throughout Truist Park at the following locations.
Left Field Gate, Chop House Gate, Right Field Gate, First Base Gate, Third Base Gate, Sandlot, Guest Services 218, Terrace Gardens, Guest Services 314, Breakroom 344, Jim Beam Lounge, Chippers Corner and Nursing Lounge.
There will also be ice water and cups at the 1st base and 3rd base premium lobbies on the lower level, Wahlburgers for Plaza Access and the Delta Wing outside 3rd base gate.

Fans are allowed to bring a sealed plastic bottle of water. One bag of food and one bottle of water per ticket will be permitted. Umbrellas are OK as long as they don’t block other fans’ view of the game, according to the Truist Park guidelines.
First pitch is scheduled for 12:20 p.m.
