COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga. — A Lincolnton, Ga., business owner was arrested and charged with financial transaction card fraud after turning herself in to authorities on Sept. 30, 2026.
Madison Layton Hollimon, age 30, turned herself in to law enforcement and was booked into the Columbia County Jail.

Hollimon is the owner of Mad Marketing LLC, based in Evans, Ga. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation began looking into her activities on July 28, 2026, after receiving a request for assistance from the Lincolnton Police Department. Preliminary information indicates Hollimon made several fraudulent charges on a client’s credit card.
Additional clients of Mad Marketing LLC have since come forward to law enforcement with further allegations of fraud against Hollimon.

The GBI stated that the investigation remains active. Anyone with relevant details is asked to contact the GBI Regional Investigative Office in Thomson at 706-595-2575. Anonymous tips may also be submitted by calling 1-800-597-TIPS (8477), online through the GBI website or by using the See Something, Send Something mobile app.
Once the GBI finishes its investigation, the complete case file will be turned over to the Columbia Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office for prosecution.
