ATLANTA — Police are investigating after a warehouse worker was shot and killed in southeast Atlanta.
Officers responded to the Royal Food Service warehouse on Zip Industrial Blvd early Thursday morning. A couple of employees told Channel 2’s Darryn Moore that someone was shot in the back of the business after an argument between two employees on the night shift.
A man was shot in the head and was pronounced dead at Grady Memorial Hospital. A person of interest is in custody.

Police spent overnight at the warehouse investigating the shooting. Detectives from the homicide unit and crime scene investigators also responded to the scene.
Police confirmed that the two employees had a previous disagreements.
“We’re able to determine this looks like a shooting from known parties about an escalating dispute that’s been going on for some time,” Lt. Christapher Butler told Moore.
