DOUGLASVILLE, Ga. — Police arrested a man they said tried to fake a medical emergency to get out of paying for his dinner last week.

Douglasville police say Abdul Rasheed, 26, called 911 on Sept. 24 from the Red Lobster on Highway 5.
Officers said Rasheed was OK, but he was hoping to avoid his $63 bill.

Police arrested Rasheed and charged him with theft of services, unlawful conduct during a 911 call and making a false report.
He was booked into the Douglas County Jail.
