The charges stem from a Feb. 19, 2026 football game at Miller Grove High School. The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office said Isaiah Reid shot at school resource officers after they told him to leave the game.

Deputies arrested the 19-year-old at an apartment complex off Satellite Blvd. in Duluth. He is charged with multiple felonies, including aggravated assault upon a public safety officer, terroristic threats and several counts of first-degree criminal damage to property.

Deputies also arrested his mother who picked him up from the game. She faces charges of aggravated assault and hindering the apprehension of a fugitive or felon.

Both are being held in the DeKalb County Jail without bond.

The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Unit coordinated the arrests with the U.S. Marshals Service and the Gwinnett Fugitive Task Force.
