CHEROKEE COUNTY, Ga. — A driver has died after a van crashed into the back of Cherokee County School District bus on Tuesday.
Triple Team Traffic’s Mike Shields reports the crash happened on Main Street near Highway 92 in Woodstock. Police are not releasing the name of the van driver who died until family is notified.
The district says there were 20 Woodstock Elementary School students and a driver on the bus. They are all safe and accounted for.

Woodstock police said two students reported minor injuries. One was released to a parent and the other was taken to a local hospital to be evaluated.
In a letter to parents, Woodstock Elementary Principal Clatrina Lane says the school will have counselors and an additional school nurse to support the students if needed.
What caused the crash is under investigation.
