One metro Atlanta county is bringing back a free way for couples to get married with the return of its “Forever Fridays” group wedding ceremonies.
The Probate Court will kick things off Sept. 4 at the Fulton County South Service Center in College Park. The event starts at 3 p.m. and is open to any couple with a valid Fulton County marriage license.

There’s no fee and no appointment needed. Couples can bring up to two guests because of limited space.
The Sept. 4 ceremony will include music, wedding photography, cupcakes, a special performance and a surprise celebrity guest officiant.
“Forever Fridays is about more than a wedding ceremony—it’s about strengthening families and communities,” Chief Probate Judge Kenya Johnson said. “By eliminating ceremony costs, couples can put those dollars toward their future and begin their marriage with greater stability.
The court said future Friday ceremonies will continue as free group weddings.
