- There are 6,383 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Georgia, with 208 deaths and 1,266 hospitalizations, according to the latest numbers.
- Saturday is the first full day under Georgia’s statewide shelter in place order. Gov. Kemp’s order went into effect at 6 p.m. Friday. Here are answers to your frequently asked questions about the order.

- Hobby Lobby closed all its locations Friday night and is furloughing all employees without pay.
- The CDC is encouraging people wear non-medical masks. President Trump says it’s only a recommendation. The cloth masks and face coverings made from household items can be used voluntarily, according to the Surgeon General. He encouraged people to wash their hands before wearing the mask and not to touch their face while wearing them. - Target began monitoring the numbers of people inside their stores and metering if necessary.
- Delta Air Lines pilot union says more than 50 pilots have tested positive. The Atlanta-based airline has around 14,000 total pilots.
- Phase 1 of Emory University’s vaccine trial is now full. They have 17 participants at the Emory Vaccine Center and another 28 people in the trial in Seattle.
- Carrollton City Schools says summer vacation will start early as they plan to break in early May. Cherokee and Union county schools are also considering earlier end dates.
