COBB COUNTY, Ga. — A person was found dead near a pond, Cobb County police reported Tuesday.

The body was found near Pine Grove Drive, which is off of Powder Springs Road SW.
Police said they received a 911 call around 4:23 p.m. Monday.

Authorities haven’t released the age, gender or identity of the deceased.
A police spokesperson said they had no additional information they could share about the discovery.
