“Bringing passport services to the Cobb County State Court Clerk’s Office is about more than expanding the services we provide,” Cobb County Clerk of State Court Tahnicia Phillips said. “It’s about making government more accessible, convenient and responsive to the needs of our community. We want to make the process of obtaining a passport easier and closer to home.”
Cobb County residents will also have access to passport acceptance services at two regional library locations, the Mountain View Regional Library and West Cobb Regional Library.
Both locations operate as official acceptance facilities for first-time adult passport applicants and children under the age of 16.
The facility on East Park Square will begin accepting appointments on Nov. 2.
Applicants can schedule appointments online through the Cobb County State Court Clerk’s Office website and review official forms and current fee schedules on travel.state.gov.
