COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Police are investigating the deaths of a woman and her daughter found dead in a car near a church on Sunday morning.
Cobb County officers were called to Milford Baptist Church on Milford Church Road at 10:45 a.m. where they found two people who had been shot. Both were pronounced dead.
Their identities have not been released, but sources confirmed to Channel 2 Cobb County Bureau Chief Michele Newell that the child is 2 years old.
The pastor and those who knew her say she was working to build a better life, leaving them shocked, LIVE on Channel 2 at 4 p.m.

Police have not commented on what led up to the shooting or connected them to the church.
According to the church’s website, Sunday services begin at 11 a.m.
Investigators say there are no outstanding suspects.
