Jackknifed tractor-trailer blocks lanes on I-75

CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — A major crash blocked some southbound lanes on Interstate 75 in Clayton County.

According to the Georgia Department of Transportation, a crash involving a jackknifed tractor-trailer blocked southbound lanes of I-75 before SR 138 at Exit 228.

Emergency responders were working to reopen the lanes as quickly and safely as possible.

Clayton County police said a vehicle and a tractor-trailer crashed, causing the tractor-trailer to jackknife.

At this time, there are no reported injuries from the accident, according to CCPD.

Meanwhile, WSB Triple Team Traffic reported trees down blocking the two right lanes of southbound I-75 at Moores Mill Road, Exit 254, in northwest Atlanta.

Drivers traveling through both areas should use caution and expect delays.
