Drugs, cars, gun seized in bust involving Carroll County beauty salon, house

CARROLLTON, Ga. — Carrollton police and the West Georgia Aggressive Criminal Enforcement unit arrested two people after a drug investigation involving a local nail salon.

Police said they received complaints from local citizens about illegal drug sales and made the arrests on Jan. 20.

They also said 47 pounds of marijuana, a gun and two vehicles were seized during the search.

Investigators said they executed two search warrants: one at a home on Terrace Ridge and the other at the Nail Art Salon & Spa on Bankhead Highway. Investigators arrested two people.

Police said Trieu Bui, 28 and Donny Vo, 48 of Carrollton were both arrested and charged with trafficking marijuana and the sale of marijuana. They were transported to the Carroll County jail.
